Director Koo Hye Sun/Ku Hye Sun/Goo Hye Sun will compete her
second full-length features film 'Peach Tree' next April at the 31st Brussels
International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF). The film will be screened from
April 2nd to the 13th at Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels, Belgium.
She will also compete at:-
Spain -
Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival.
Portugal - Fantasporto Film Festival
The BIFFF is regarded as one of three (3) International
Fantastic Film Festival and its held every four years.
"Peach Tree" is about conjoined twins with
opposite personalities that grew up in a dark house for thirty years without
ever leaving the home.
Director Koo Hye Sun has displayed her success in the film
industry as a director by receiving the numerous awards such as :-
Audience
Award at the Busan Asian Short Film Festival for film "The Madonna"
Topics
Award at the Japan Shorts International Short Film Festival for film "The
Madonna"
Spotlight Award at 12th Short Shorts Film Festival &
Asia for film "The Modonna"
Nomination for the 23rd Tokyo International Film Festival Asian Film
Awards for film "Magic"
Up till now she have directed 7 films altogether. With 2
novel under her belt - "Tango" & "Peach Tree", 3
painting exhibition and multiple songs as well as dramas, she is definitely is
somebody with something superb with brain and skill.
With all this evidence, it prove that Koo Hye Sun is very super
multi-talented. She is not only the director for "Peach Tree" and
other films but was also in charge of the screen play and music, making
"Peach Tree" as an excellent showcase on just how brightly she can
shine.
